“Fresh strawberry, sweet herbs, roses and smoke create an inviting display as the 2019 Lambrusco di Sorbara Lariserva opens up in the glass. This displays silky textures and a stimulating bead of fine bubbles, accentuated by brilliant acidity and tart orchard fruits. It’s savory, almost salty and buzzing with residual tension through the long, mouthwatering finale.” – Eric Guido

Tastingnote:

“The 2020 Lambrusco di Sorbara Radice presents a savory display of dusty rose, ginger and sour melon. It’s silky-smooth and textural, as a tug-of-war between sweet and sour plays upon the senses. Minerals, tart apples, wild herbs and spices resonate throughout, as this finishes long yet with cheek-puckering freshness. The decidedly dry Radice is made from the Sorbara grape, which is re-fermented to dryness in bottle, creating a ‘frizzante’ style.” -Eric Guido

Tastingnote:

“The 2020 Lambrusco di Sorbara Leclisse is lifted and floral with nuances of strawberry, savory spice and incense. Its silken bubbles are quickly firmed up by a mix of salty minerals and acids, as citrus-tinged orchard fruits add further tension through the mediu-length finale. The Leclisse is produced by the charmat method, and it spends three months resting on the lees prior to bottling.” – Eric Guido

The Zenato Lugana San Benedetto is made from a selection of the best grapes from the eponymous estate. The vineyards are some of the appellation’s most historic and are considered to be among its best. Rich in personality and with great depth, this wine delivers a wide spectrum of fresh and complex aromas on the nose. It’s full-bodied and full-flavored in the mouth, with notes that shift from dried apple and pineapple to pear and vanilla. Its long, brilliant finish lingers with delicious results.

An intense and enveloping bouquet of white flowers with notes of pear and apple and nuances of peach and citrus. A fine, elegant and persistent perlage and a silky acidic vein gives freshness.

Produced with 100 percent Trebbiano di Lugana, this wine brightens up the glass with its straw yellow color. Its multifaceted nose is aromatic, fresh, and fruity, with notes of grape, peach, citron, grapefruit, and a hint of pineapple, which adds tropical character.

On the palate, the wine is approachable, fresh, and has good minerality.
