Gualberto Grati, who will be personally present at our stand, will be glad to taste this wine with you.
THE PRODUCER:
The Grati family have been growing grapes and olives in the Rufina hills for five generations.
Their two estates, Vetrice and Galiga, cover an astounding 562 hectares, of which 100 hectares are under vine.
Only 25 kilometers from Florence, the landscape is classically Tuscan, though considerably cooler than the plain. The wines are correspondingly fresh and elegant and offer remarkable value.
Today, February 16th 2023, the world celebrates the International Syrah Day.
Let’s toast with a glass of Syrah Sicilia DOC of Masseria del Feudo.
THE WINE:
Vineyards: Vigna Giovane 480 mt a.s.l.
Land: medium texture and average clay Pruning system: guyot
Grape: Nero d’Avola 100% manual harvest

Winemaking: Destalking, maceration and fermentation through indigenous yeasts in stainless vats for 14 days at 24°C, racking, short refining in concrete vats and in bottle
THE PRODUCER:
Masseria del Feudo is not just a company.
Its history is a family history, whose values and ideals are powered from Francesco and Carolina, fourth generation of agriculture entrepreneurs, who work in a land where innovation is supported by tradition.
Their philosophy is reflected in social responsibility towards the environment and production quality.
15 hectares of vines, 20 of peach orchards and 3 of olive groves fully organic certified.
