James Suckling awards for Pertinace

Congratulations to Pertinace with these recent outstanding reviews..

The producer:
Pertinace as a place name is a thousand years old. The winery is located in Pertinace in Treiso, Piedmont, one of the four villages in the Langhe famous for the production of Barbaresco DOCG. However, it is also known as the birthplace of Publio Elvio Pertinace, valorous soldier and Roman Emperor, who was born here in 126 A.D.

The wines:
the complete range of Pertinace wines is a true expression of traditional Langhe winemaking, and includes noble Barbaresco DOCG, mellow Langhe Nebbiolo DOC and Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, and amiable Dolcetto DOC and Barbera d’Alba DOC. Completing the range to offer a selection of all Piedmont’s great wines are Moscato d’Asti and Barbera d’Asti DOC from the Agliano Terme vineyards.
