Montepulciano d’Abruzzo
San Zopito 2019

Tastingnote:
“The 2029 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo San Zopito is dusty in character, with a bouquet of dried roses and crushed cherries complicated by a whiff of flowery undergrowth.
Depths of ripe red fruit saturate the palate.
it is initially silky in feel, yet fine tannins settle in quickly, matched by brisk acidity. The 2019 finishes dramatically long and potent as a tart wild berry tinge adds chewy persistence.
Lose this in the cellar for a couple of years”

Tastingnote:
“The 2024 Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo impresses with a mix of ripe fruit and earth tones complicated by wet stone and sage. it’s wickedly fresh and zesty, with. a complementary minty freshness. The 2024 doesn’t miss a beat, finishing long yet juicy, drenched in minerality and nearly crunchy in feel.”

Tastingnote:
“The hauntingly dark 2020 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva smolders up with a whiff of crushed ashen stone lavender and citrus-laced blackberry. Silken and graceful despite its depth and complexity, this peppers the palate with masses of ripe red and black fruit underscored by tactile minerals. It leaves the sense drenched in primary concentration and is only gently tannic. Pleasantly bitter notes of licorice and spice linger on the finish.“
Eric Guido, 2025
Tastingnote:
“Candied blackberry mixed with dried violet and sweet somke aroma as the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Senza Sulfiti 2024 blossoms in the glass. This is a pure and vividly fruit-centic effort with cool-toned acidity that adds a racy edginess throughout. lue and purple inner florals resonate through the fiinish as the 2024 tapers off wickedly fresh. This is a total pleasure to taste nd a great value, but its low sulfur content may mean it won’t travel well.”
