The Pietroso estate, located in Montalcino, Italy, has been cultivating vines since 1363.
The company was founded in the 1970s by Domenico “Delfo” Berni and is currently run by his grandson, Gianni Pignattai, and his family.

The winery produces Sangiovese wines known for their elegant aromas, good structure, and long aging potential. Their Sangiovese grapes are grown in five different zones and are all worked manually. The cellar, located near the historic village, uses a traditional approach for transforming grapes and aging the wine in oak. The estate produces wines including Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOCG.
