93 points for Brunello di Montalcino 2019 from Patrizia Cencioni
Kerin O’Keefe rated Patrizia Cencioni’s Brunello di Montalcino 2019 with 93 points.
The tasting took place in December 2023.
TASTINGNOTE:
“The Patrizia Cencioni 2019 Brunello is a lovely wine, opening with aromas of violet, botanical herb, forest floor and a whiff of new leather. Linear and elegant, the taut palate features ripe black cherry, spiced blueberry, blood orange and star anise before a black tea finish. It has youthful tension, thanks to bright acidity and a backbone of firm, fine-grained tannins. Drink 2027–2039. Abv: 14.5%
