he name ‘Lambrusco’ means wild grape in Italian and it often has been assumed that all Lambrusco’s were domesticated from local wild vines. The Lambrusco Grasparosso, sometimes also called Lambrusco di Castelvetro or Scorzamaro, is widespread throughout the province of Reggio Emilia in the region of Emilia Romagna.
